My Professional background
Prior to the merger with Attwaters Jameson Hill in November 2019, my entire legal career was spent with Stafford Young Jones, commencing in 1986 as an articled clerk before becoming a solicitor, then a partner. I finally reverted to an employed solicitor so that I could concentrate on looking after my clients, which is the reason I went into the profession.
I specialise in residential conveyancing and property law related matters, acting for private individuals, corporate bodies, charities and trustees of landed estates. In enfranchisement claims (lease extensions and acquisitions of freehold reversions), I act for both landlords and tenants. I very much enjoy the close working relationship built up with clients over the course of a conveyancing transaction.
About Me
After a hard day’s work in the bustle of the city, I relish returning home to the depths of the countryside and spending time with my partner and dog. The summer months find me tending my vegetable patch.
