Anna Lochhead
My Professional Background
I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill’s Wills, Trusts, and Probate team in August 2021. I qualified as a Fellow Legal Executive in 2020. I am an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP), and I am currently studying the Trusts and Estates Diploma for England and Wales. I initially trained at College as a Legal Secretary; during this time, I carried out work experience with a Trust Corporation and was offered my first role, which began my legal career in Wills, Trusts and Probate.
I went on to complete my Paralegal qualification in 2012, then commenced my studies as a Legal Executive. Throughout my studies, I continued to work full time in both regional and Central London law firms specialising in Wills and Succession, Probate and Trusts and Equity. This enabled me to obtain hands-on experience and continue to build my practical knowledge. I enjoy forging relationships with clients and aim to help clients understand and deal with matters that can feel difficult to approach.
About me
I was raised in West Sussex with my mum and two older brothers, and I now live with my best friend in London. I enjoy yoga and spending time with my friends and family. I’m not a huge foodie but could recommend a good drink for most occasions. If were stranded on a desert island (which would be likely considering I have a particularly irrational fear of seaweed), I’d like to have a dog there to keep me company.
