Tens of thousands raised for our Charity of the Year in 2023/24
Giving back to our community and supporting charities close to our hearts has always been hugely important to the team at Attwaters Jameson Hill. So, we are delighted to announce that we managed to raise a staggering £43,093.66 in the 2023/24 financial year for our chosen charity, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
Rainbow Trust is a charitable organisation that provides emotional and practical support to the families who have a child with a terminal or life-threatening condition. Through their Family Support Workers, Rainbow Trust provides support to the whole family, including parents, carers, brothers and sisters, and of course, the unwell child themselves. From bereavement support, accompanying parents to appointments or taking siblings on days out, the charity’s support workers are a lifeline for families at the most difficult time of their lives.
To raise the money, the Attwaters Jameson Hill team held a wide range of fundraising events and activities, culminating in our annual Charity Quiz Night, held this year on 24 April at Harlow Rugby Club.
Our Managing Partner, Sheri-Ann Mizon, said upon hearing the total sum raised:
“Every year, our whole team votes upon our chosen Charity of the Year to ensure that we select a cause that really means something to us all. Rainbow Trust is a wonderful charity that works so hard to support families going through a situation most of us can’t even imagine.”
“I am so proud of the whole team for helping to raise such a substantial sum of money for the Rainbow Trust. It’s not just a tick-box exercise for any of us – it’s a genuine commitment to giving back and something that brings us all closer together as a team.”
