Charity Walk for Macmillan
As part of our fund raising activity for our chosen charity Macmillan cancer support in Hertfordshire and Essex a number of members of staff and their friends will be taking part in a charity walk.
The walk of 19 miles begins and ends in Ware. The walk will follow the route of New River to Broxbourne and then return via the River Lee to Ware. Funds raised will go towards our target of raising £10,000 for Macmillan
Macmillan Cancer Support was founded over 100 years ago with the aim to guide people through their cancer journey, every step of the way. They help improve the lives of people affected by cancer, both those living with cancer and also their families and carers. Whilst a national charity, the focus is very much on offering local services to support families affected by cancer in Hertfordshire and Essex. Attwaters Jameson Hill is raising funds for the new cancer unit at the Lister hospital which covers the Hertford and Ware region.
