My Professional Background

I deal with all aspects of residential property, from sales and purchases, to buy to let portfolio investments. I also specialise in shared ownership sales and purchases and act for the Armed Forces. I have extensive knowledge of high value properties across the UK, having worked within the Loughton and London market for over 15 years. I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill as Head of Residential Property (Loughton), in 2008. I was made an Associate in 2010 and a Partner in 2013.  I was appointed as Managing Partner in 2022.

I am very proud to be Managing Partner of the firm, as we truly place client satisfaction as the top priority, which is reflected in our Clients Service Pledge. My team are experienced, professional and, above all, truly support every one of our clients through the transaction from start to finish. We aim, in every case, to exceed clients’ expectations and most of my clients are returning clients and ‘word of mouth’ referrals.

I was schooled close to the Attwaters’ offices in Harlow – at Mark Hall Academy, then at Harlow College – before gaining my degree and LPC at the University of Glamorgan. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2003, while at a firm in Bristol. I then moved to Hugh James Solicitors in Cardiff, as a Residential Property Solicitor, where I dealt with high-net-worth clients and acted for Halifax and a national developer. I then accepted the role of Head of Residential Property at a firm in Cardiff, before deciding to move back to Essex.

About me

I was born and raised in High Laver in Essex and now live in Takeley, Bishop’s Stortford. Having a young family, I enjoy living so close to Hatfield Forest. When I have any free time, I like to run, visit galleries and restaurants in London, as well as punt along the river in Cambridge. One of my passions is scuba diving; I am a qualified Rescue Scuba Diver. I spent six months in Fiji volunteering for a marine conservation charity. I worked with the local islands to increase awareness of the importance and management of coral reefs for the future prosperity of the communities in this developing country. Living on an island (with no running water or electricity) was a most rewarding experience – it also taught me to recognise over 600 types of fish on sight!

My grandfather was Chief Solicitor for Harlow at the time when the new town was developed. He has been my main inspiration to pursue a career in property law. My favourite food is mezza and I enjoy a pint of cider. I have a fear of confined spaces. My dream job would be to run a beach front coffee shop and, if I was to visit a desert island, I would take my son with me.
