Attwaters team become Mental Health First Aiders
We are delighted to announced that seven members of our team have undergone training to become qualified Mental Health First Aiders, with all seven successfully obtaining their accreditation.
The MHFA Champion course from MHFA England gives participants the awareness and skills they need to become MHFA Champions. It means that our team members are now qualified to recognise the main signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and provide initial support.
This accreditation represents an important step towards building a mentally healthy workplace, playing a major role in ending stigma and discrimination around mental health at work.
Our seven MHFA Champions are:
- Belinda Strange, Partner and Head of Family Law
- Jodie Glenister, Family Law Executive
- Leah Terry, Conveyancing Assistant
- Goksel Karova, Medical Negligence Solicitor
- Katharina Vidojevic, Residential Property Solicitor
- Zoe North, Paralegal (Lease Extension & Enfranchisement)
- Sheri-Anne Mayhew, Managing Partner.

“At Attwaters Jameson Hill, we firmly believe that supporting our people’s mental health is just as important as taking care of their physical wellbeing. After all, our staff can only deliver the very best legal advice and care to our clients when they have the mental and physical capacity to do so.
“The MHFA course means that our MHFA Champions are now qualified to deliver vital support to team members experiencing mental health issues, ensuring that they feel seen and supported in the workplace. I’d like to thank all the team members that took the time to attend the course – they are directly contributing to building the mentally healthy workplace we all deserve.”
