Attwaters partners with Epping Forest Heritage Trust

At Attwaters Jameson Hill, giving back to our local community has long been an important part of our ethos. So, when we were offered the chance to become a Business Partner of Epping Forest Heritage Trust (EFHT), we jumped at the chance!

EFHT is a charity that works to protect, conserve, grow and celebrate Epping Forest’s biodiversity, heritage and culture, and engage, educate and inspire others to do the same.

As an EFHT Business Partner, Attwaters Jameson Hill will be contributing directly to EFHT’s work to preserve and protect Epping Forest, both now and for generations to come. We will achieve this through three main strands of activity:

• Inspiring and educating more people to visit the Forest through running guided walks and the Visitor Centre at High Beach
• Practical habitat management work in the Forest, led by Conservation Officers with groups of local volunteers
• Policy, planning and advocacy work to raise awareness of the Forest with decision-makers and policy-makers.

We are very much looking forward to giving back to our community and supporting Epping Forest.

Our Managing Partner, Sheri-Anne Mizon, said: “Epping Forest, which is just a stone’s throw from our Loughton office, is an area of ancient woodland that provides rare and important habitats for a wide range of flora and fauna. It is not only a gem in our local community, but an area of international importance that we must work hard to protect and conserve.
