My Professional Background
I joined Attwaters Jameson Hill in May 2023 as a Senior Paralegal in our Court of Protection team. I support the financial deputies and assist our clients who lack the capacity to manage their own financial affairs.
I have worked within the Court of Protection sector for almost 17 years. Initially, I worked in the public sector for the Office of the Public Guardian (the administrative arm of the Court of Protection). From there, I progressed my career to Senior Paralegal level, where I now manage my own caseload of clients whose financial affairs and properties are under the Court of Protection’s jurisdiction and managed by a Financial Deputy/Deputies.
Over the years, my experience and specialism in this area has enabled me to establish respectful relationships with my clients, who trust my judgement and understand that they are my number one priority when it comes to their financial needs and requirements. I have good relationships not only with my clients – whether long-standing or recently introduced – but also, with a long list of trusted service providers, case management companies and general contacts who help me carry out my duties effectively and efficiently on behalf of my clients.
I excel in making my clients feel safe and valued no matter what their individual circumstances led them to being under the jurisdiction of the Court of Protection. Most of my clients face daily challenges and difficulties in many different forms and I want to help them make the most out of their lives.
About me
I am a Londoner who enjoys collecting and displaying pictures and artworks that depict areas and places in London. I now live with my daughter in Hertfordshire.
In my spare time, I enjoy antique browsing on London’s outskirts, as I am fascinated by the history behind artifacts.
If I were stranded on a desert island, I’d need to have my lip balm handy!
